Leadership
Adrienne Nakamura
Founder & Principal Consultant
Putting structure around complex work and helping people deliver.
Adrienne is a strategy, transformation, and operations leader with more than 15 years of experience across healthcare, financial services, and private-equity-backed organizations. She partners with CEOs, executive teams, boards, and technology leaders to turn business priorities into practical plans, clear decisions, and coordinated execution.
At Supplemental Health Care, she built and led the company’s first enterprise PMO and governed a $50 million transformation portfolio spanning approximately 30 initiatives. Her work connected technology modernization, AI adoption, back-office improvement, and organizational change with executive priorities and delivery accountability. Along side that work she brought a strong sense of company culture and was their first VP of Impact.Â
Previously, at CHG Healthcare, she built and led teams across project management, strategic operations, customer experience (CX), contract management, and data governance. At American Express, she built operations across three countries and supported new prepaid card launches in domestic and international markets, coordinating teams, systems, controls, training, and vendor readiness. Her Six Sigma Black Belt projects saved millions annually.Â
Through Kizuna, she brings that hands-on experience to enterprise assessments, strategic roadmaps, operating models, executive decision support, and transformation leadership. Her focus is making expectations clear, helping teams resolve roadblocks, and building practices that sustain progress after implementation.

Michael is a healthcare workforce and operations executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience across physician staffing, provider operations, sales, recruiting, and business transformation. He helps leadership teams identify what constrains performance and translate that diagnosis into practical operating changes.
As Vice President at CompHealth / CHG Healthcare, he led sales, recruiting, and corporate development teams generating more than $194 million in revenue. His experience includes rebuilding sales and fulfillment models, aligning compensation with growth goals, developing leaders, and partnering on digital products and CRM/ATS migrations.

For Kizuna clients, Michael connects workforce planning, recruiting productivity, retention, commercial strategy, P&L discipline, and workflow modernization with the realities of delivering healthcare.
